How to Decorate Snowflake Cookies

If anyone knows me, they know I completely SUCK at decorating.  And I don’t use the word suck lightly.  It’s something that I only recently decided I wanted to learn.  I love baking cookies, eating cookies, creating new cookie recipes, experimenting with cookies….so I guess it’s only natural I should learn how to decorate them. So, it is now actually one of my goals for 2014… To become a better cookie decorator. Watch out royal icing I’m coming for you!  For a while I really didn’t have a ton of interest in learning to decorate cookies because most decorated cookies never tasted that good and if I’m going to eat a cookie it better taste good…right? But then I saw these Hello Kitty macarons from Crumbs and thought, “who cares?! these are so freaking cute they could taste like rocks and I would LOVE them…plus I wouldn’t want to eat them because they are so freaking cute!”
