Homemade Butterfinger

Ingredients

  • 16oz Candy Corn
  • 16oz Creamy Peanut Butter (Typically 1 Jar)
  • 16oz Dark Chocolate/ Milk Chocolate for Coating (you can also use coating chocolates)

Directions

Step 1
Spray a 9 x 13, 8 x 8 or brownie bite pan (which is what I used) lightly with non-stick spray.
Step 2
Melt the candy corn in a medium saucepan over medium heat , constantly stirring the candy corn. Add in the peanut butter and heat until all the candy corn is melted and the mixture is smooth.
Step 3
Pour your mixture into your prepared pan. Let sit to cool. If you poured the heated candy mixture into a pan to make butterfinger bars, cut them with a very sharp knife once they begin to hardened and let cool completely.
Step 4
Heat your chocolate in a double boiler until it is all melted. Take the butterfinger bites or bars and dip them in the melted chocolate and set on wax paper or a wire rack to hardened.
