Cayenne Pepper Potato Chip Cookie Recipe

Cayenne Pepper Potato Chip Cookie Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cups Unsalted Butter softened
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup White Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 1 1/4 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 3/4 teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cayenne Pepper
  • 2 cups Crushed Pepper Kettle Cooked Chips

Note

I used a food processor to grind and crush the potato chips but if you don't have one, you can always smash the chips in a zip lock bag and that will work as well.

Directions

Step 1
Cream the unsalted butter, brown sugar & white sugar in a stand mixer with paddle attachment. Add the egg and mix together.
Step 2
In a separate bowl, sift the flour, baking soda and cayenne pepper. Slowly add the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients and mix until combined. Add the crushed potato chips and mix to combine.
Step 3
Refrigerate the dough for at least 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Line your baking sheets with parchment paper and scoop out about 2-3 tablespoons of cookie dough placed about 2-3 inches apart.
Step 4
Bake for 8-9 minutes rotating the pans in between. Cool before serving.
